This year has certainly started with a bang!.Our engineers and office team have jumped straight into a very busy start to 2024!

The weather has certainly become colder with freezing temperatures set to continue into next week, our office phone lines are busy with new and existing customers inquiring for new boiler installations,urgent heating breakdown and repair works

A massive thank you from our team for all your recommendations and fantastic reviews to us as a company as we continue to grow our customers base.

Our Office is based in Layer De La Haye, Colchester and we are open Monday -Fridays 9am till 5pm

Throughout Winter we are open on occasional Saturdays 9am until 3pm to help with emergency call outs for any heating repairs or diagnosing.

Here at Allen and Clarke our inquiries for bathroom renovation is fully under way.

Please don’t delay if this is something you are interested in, as our bathroom renovation period finishes at the end of September each year

Prior to our engineer attending to provide your bathroom quotation, we will require you to visit either showroom & have a detailed plan of the bathroom including suite/material list needed in order for our engineer to provide you with an accurate quotation.

Our fundraising news

Every Year over the Winter months Allen & Clarke like to fund raise for local charities or well needed causes.

Last year we helped our local Foodbank and raised £728 in vital food and toiletry essentials for families during the high rise in the cost of living.

During COVID we raised a whopping £2,333 for Colchester Zoo to help with the high running costs whilst their doors were unfortunately closed.

This year as we are a family business with our children attending two local primary schools we would like to raise money towards a large purchase of new books for the children at both Layer de la Haye and Langenhoe Primary schools!!!

Both schools are delighted that we can help, so we are looking forward to raising as much as we can so the children can benefit with lots of new books and exciting novels to enjoy!

How do we fund raise?

From October last year until the end of March this year, for every boiler service carried out by our A&C team we will donate £1 and for every new boiler or air conditioning installation we will donate £5 towards this cause.

At the end of each month our office will keep you up to date on how much we have totalled so far on our fundraising.

We are very keen to raise as much money as we can, reading has amazing benefits for children such as comfort and reassurance, confidence and security, feeds imagination and provides greater knowledge and a wider range of vocabulary.

We look forward to announcing the total amount raised in April 2024 and this will be divided equally between both Layer and Langenhoe primary schools!.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING ‘BOILER TAX’

Due to the Governments Clean Heat Market Mechanism Scheme ‘Boiler Tax’ from January 2024 the Government will be fining certain boiler manufactures who do not meet their heat pump sales targets, this will result in the manufactures passing the cost on to us, the installers.

Therefore any new boiler quotations that have been sent & are not accepted with deposits being paid by the 1st of January 2024 may incur additional costs & will need to be re-reviewed by ourselves before confirming your price and booking.
