Donating to Colchester Food Bank throughout this Winter

Allen and Clarke Plumbing and Heating ltd are delighted to be donating to our local Colchester Food Bank throughout this Winter!

As we are a Plumbing and Heating company, we realise how important it is to keep your home safe, warm and your heating appliances running efficiently, however with the rising costs of living and rapid increase in energy costs unfortunately the number of households in our region who are either in, or at risk of falling into fuel poverty is at a critical point.

This means far too many people are living in cold, unsafe homes.

Fuel poverty can affect anyone on a short-term basis, but thousands of vulnerable people in our communities are at risk of facing devastating impacts for far longer.

Many families on low income or who rely on benefits, the elderly and disabled, and those with health conditions are dealing with a bleak winter.

A&C are wanting to help as no family should have to make a decision of either having heat or to eat

So from 1st October 2022 to the 1st March 2023 we are donating £1 from every boiler service our team carry out to Colchester food bank

At the end of each month Laura and Amy will total the amount we have raised from our boiler servicing; we will then be in contact with the food bank to see what essential food or toiletry items are needed and we will then shop for these items up to the value of what we have raised and deliver to the food bank at Stanway

If any of our customers would also like to donate any food items or toiletries, then please bring to our office
at Unit 5 Kingsford business Centre,Layer Road, Colchester and we will be happy to deliver to the bank

we will keep you all updated with how much we raise each month and in total!
