We have fantastic news from the A & C team, As you may already know we are donating money from a selection of our services since Colchester Zoo sadly needed to close its doors due to lock down
Last month, even though working with reduced staff and needing to limit our services due to lock down restrictions We are very pleased to say our first month of donations has reached £156 towards our local zoo!!!
Our children have also very much enjoyed creating zoo themed activities for the children in our home villages during this difficult time

Thank you for your email and for all your efforts in raising funds for Colchester Zoo to help us survive this crisis.
We are ever so grateful for your donation and all the hard work you have put into raising funds. The money you are donating will help us to continue to provide our animals with the highest standard of care.
It seems like an eternity since we closed our doors to the public and we are going to find it hard, as many will, to survive without regular income for what might be a long period of time. We are aware that there are many worthy organisations who deserve help and funding at this particular time so we are very grateful to you for your kind generosity.
Your support is much appreciated during this very difficult time we are facing. We cannot express strongly enough how much we appreciate your concern for Colchester Zoo. Through our dedicated team we continue to ensure all of our animals are well cared for and that we will be ready to reopen as soon as this dreadful situation has passed.
The activities that you have put together as a family for the community to enjoy whilst also raising vital funds for us here at Colchester Zoo look fantastic – we hope that many have enjoyed participating in the scavenger hunt! It was lovely to see the photos, thank you so much for sharing these with us.

Great news that Colchester zoo’s doors will again be opening very soon ! However our zoo will still struggle financially for some time so we are continuing to support with donating money from a selection of our services
